The Education Quality Department (EQD) was established in 2016. In accordance with the Rector’s Order No. 7 dated January 23, 2024, the Department was renamed the Department of Quality, Accreditation and Licensing. The Department is an independent structural subdivision of KNAU named after K.I. Scriabin, operating in accordance with the regulatory and legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main goal of the Department is to coordinate the educational process and organize the activities of the structural divisions, departments and services of the institute in managing and ensuring the quality of education, in order to satisfy consumers (employers, students, parents, society, etc.) and other stakeholders. The tasks of the Quality Accreditation and Licensing Department include:

• Development and implementation of the university quality management system.
• Implementation and coordination of the University’s quality policy in structural divisions and departments.
• Monitoring indicators and processes of educational quality in the structural divisions and departments of the university, their analysis and adoption of measures to improve quality.
• Implementation of a system of measures for internal audit and self-assessment of the activities of structural divisions and departments of the university.
• Conducting social surveys and research on issues of organizing the quality of educational and other activities of the university.
• Development of local regulatory documents governing the activities of KNAU in the field of quality management.
• Preparation and organization of work on licensing and accreditation of educational programs.
• Study and practical application of the experience and recommendations of international institutions providing quality monitoring.
• Maintaining the effective functioning and management of the University’s internal quality assurance system.
• Conducting work to improve the qualifications of the university’s teaching staff.
• Organization of advanced training courses for specialists in the agricultural sector.
