Seminar on Quality Assurance and Results Monitoring Held in Bishkek under the Erasmus+ D-TIDE-KG Project
On June 8–9, 2026, the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) hosted a two-day training seminar titled “Quality Assurance and Project Monitoring Training,” organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project D-TIDE-KG (Digital Transformation for Inclusive Doctoral Education in Kyrgyzstan). The event brought together representatives of consortium partner universities to discuss quality assurance, project monitoring, and the improvement of reporting mechanisms in line with Erasmus+ requirements.
The seminar aimed to strengthen the capacity of partner institutions in internal quality assurance, results monitoring, and evidence-based reporting. Participants explored modern approaches to quality management in international education projects, discussed methods for evaluating achieved results, and exchanged practical experience in project implementation.
On the first day, key principles and standards of quality assurance in Erasmus+ projects were presented, along with practical approaches to the Results-Based Approach (RBA). Participants engaged in hands-on exercises focused on defining project results, performance indicators, and verification methods. Special attention was given to monitoring tools, evidence collection, and common challenges encountered in higher education capacity-building projects.
On the second day, participants discussed practical aspects of project reporting and conducted an expert review of materials prepared by partners. They also examined internal quality assurance mechanisms and continuous improvement processes. Group work resulted in proposals for corrective actions and further steps to enhance project implementation efficiency in the upcoming stages.
As a result of the seminar, participants strengthened their knowledge and practical skills in quality assurance, monitoring, and reporting, updated the list of project results and indicators, and agreed on recommendations and next steps for the continued implementation of the D-TIDE-KG project. The outcomes of the seminar will contribute to improving project management mechanisms and enhancing the quality of doctoral education in the Kyrgyz Republic.
