Official delegation from the Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China
On June 10, 2026, a meeting was held between Dr. Nurzat Ermekovna Totubaeva, Rector of the K. I. Skryabin Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, and a delegation from the Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang, China.
The official delegation was headed by Mr. Wen Guanghua, Vice Governor of the Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture. The delegation included Mr. Yang Zhongneng, Head of the Science and Technology Department of the Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture; Mr. Ren Maozhi, Director of the Xinjiang Key Laboratory Center for Functional Agricultural Bioengineering; Mr. Shen Jianping, Deputy Head of the Science and Technology Department of the Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture; Mr. Yi Liheerbaike, Director of the Representative Office of the Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture in the Kyrgyz Republic; Mr. Peng Yu, Expert at the Xinjiang Key Laboratory Center for Functional Agricultural Bioengineering; and Mr. Hu Yigang, Assistant at the Xinjiang Key Laboratory Center for Functional Agricultural Bioengineering.
The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rectors B.Z. Kaldybaev and K.K. Abdykerimov, as well as Dr. Zh.K. Kerimaliev, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
Particular attention was paid to the prospects for developing scientific, technological, and industrial cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, taking into account the opportunities arising from the implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan transport corridor.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing cooperation in the fields of education, science, innovation, and technology.
