Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin Hosts Delegation from Northwest A&F University of China
 
On June 4, 2026, Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (KNAU) named after K.I. Skryabin welcomed a delegation from Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) of the People’s Republic of China. The delegation was headed by Mr. Zhang Hongming, Vice President for International Cooperation.
The delegation included Mr. Zhao Wujun, Deputy Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Mr. Shi Huizhou, Section Chief of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and Ms. Liu Yanrong, Lecturer at the College of Horticulture.
The guests were received by Nurzat Ermekovna Totubaeva, Rector of KNAU named after K.I. Skryabin. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Kubanychbek Toktonazarovich Turgunbaev, Vice Rector for the State Language and Educational Affairs, and Mr. Kubanychbek Kudaibergenovich Abdykerimov, Vice Rector for International Relations and Investment Attraction.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, science, and international activities. Particular attention was given to expanding academic mobility for students and faculty members, strengthening research collaboration, implementing joint educational initiatives, and exchanging experience in agricultural education and modern agricultural technologies.
Representatives of both universities emphasized the importance of the long-standing partnership between KNAU named after K.I. Skryabin and NWAFU, expressing their interest in further strengthening academic and scientific ties.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing active cooperation in areas of mutual interest and further developing bilateral relations.
