On April 1–2, 2026, an exhibition showcasing educational programs from universities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Agrarian Universities was held in the reading hall of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (KNAU) named after K.I. Skryabin.

The opening featured welcoming remarks from Acting Rector Irgashev Almazbek Shukurbayevich and Rector of Kostroma State Agricultural Academy (FSBEI HE), Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Agrarian Universities, Volkhonov Mikhail Stanislavovich.

The event aimed to introduce students from secondary vocational education institutions (SVEs), technical schools, and colleges affiliated with KNAU to opportunities for higher education at agrarian universities within the consortium.

Representatives from leading agricultural universities of the Russian Federation attended the exhibition, including:

  • Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University
  • Kuzbass State Agrarian University named after V.N. Poletskov
  • Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy
  • Russian State University for the Humanities named after V.I. Vernadsky
  • Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba
  • Saint Petersburg State Agrarian University

These universities presented their educational programs, admission requirements, fields of study, as well as opportunities for academic mobility and scientific collaboration.

During the exhibition, participants received detailed information about educational prospects, asked questions, and discussed opportunities for further professional development.

The Kyrgyz National Agrarian University continues to actively develop international and inter-university cooperation, creating new opportunities for students and academic staff.
